Letter From The President

The Buena Park Police Association was incorporated July 29, 1964. The board members are elected by the membership and work to protect employee rights through representation, safeguard and/or improve working conditions, and negotiate salaries and benefits. This is primarily done by building a professional working relationship and partnership with city officials, other city employees, the community we serve, and the Office of the Chief of Police. Our Association also sponsors charitable events such as the Shane York/Bud Cate Memorial Golf Tournament and the Tyler Pinchot Memorial Car Show. We provide donations to worthwhile community programs such as the Boys and Girls Club, Project 999, Relay for Life, Soroptimist International, and numerous local schools.
